Prenate DHA Rx Review
Is Prenate DHA Rx a high quality prenatal vitamin?
Prenate DHA Rx contains the maximum amount of Folic Acid and an abundance of DHA, which is a high quality ingredient that helps with fetal brain and retinal development. Is it the highest quality prenatal vitamin? Hardly. Prenate DHA still has a lot of room to improve. Prenate vitamins with DHA could contain a few more high quality ingredients like CoQ10 and some probiotics. We recommend that Prenate DHA should ditching some of the unecessary additives if they decide to reformulate their prenatal vitamin.
Is Prenate DHA Rx Safe?
Prenate DHA does not contain any Vitamin A, therefore it will not interfere with vitamin absorbency so you won't have to worry about vitamin A toxicity. Make sure you are getting a sufficient amount of vitamin A in your diet or else you will have to worry about your baby's physical development. Your baby needs some Vitamin A for proper limb development and for porper formation of the heart, eyes and ears. Prenate DHA is a far better prenatal vitamin than Prenate Elite, and will help you and your baby throughout your pregnancy.
Prenate vitamins with DHA does contains fish oil so do not take if you have allergies to fish. Another thing you should be aware of is that Prenate DHA contains hydrogentaed vegetable oil. Yuck! Hyrodenated oil has no place in a prenatal vitamin. Prenate also contains a variety of artificial colors which are linked to behavior problems, and symptoms similar to ADHD.

The Bottom Line…
We really like that Prenate DHA contains such a large amount of DHA., so they get brownie points for adding that to their formula. We feel they dropped the ball by unnecessarily adding hydrogenated oils and food coloring to their vitamin. Trans fatty acids have been linked to: cancer, ischemic heart disease, multiple sclerosis, diverticulitis, diabetes, and other degenerative conditions. Prenate DHA is recommended for pregnant woman who have severe morning sickness. You can also alleviate symptoms of morning sickness with natural ingredients like ginger root and vitamin B6. While Prenatae DHA is a decent prenatal vitamin we believe there are far better prenatal vitamins on the market.
